05 October 2010, 9.00am - 10.00am at Harbour Arts Centre, Harbour Street, Irvine, KA12 8PZ
Last year, we launched a highly successful series of business and networking events. Now the Irvine Bay talks business series is back for 2010!
Designed especially for business people in the Irvine Bay area, this is the ideal opportunity to come along, meet other local businesses and hear what Irvine Bay is doing in your area.
Brian Keating, project director of 'The Ayrshire' golf complex will also provide and update on progress and explain how the development will benefit the area.
Shona Thorne of Thorne Travel, Kilwinning will be the guest speaker at the Irvine event. Shona opened her business in the Main Street because the street was about to undergo major refurbishment. She will talk about her own experiences of setting up a new business and trading through the disruption, and out successfully at the other end.
The events are expected to last around 1 hour and will include a question and answer session. Teas, coffees and refreshments will be served afterwards allowing time for networking and one-to-one discussions with Irvine Bay staff.
Chief Executive Patrick Wiggins said: “This year’s series of business events build on the terrific success of the three initial meetings last year, which were each attended by around 140 people.
“These meetings allow us to keep local businesses up to date with our activity and progress, and with the opportunities that work can present for them.”
If you can't manage the Irvine event, pick an alternative time and place that suits your business better:
