Lots of activities including dance workshops, sports activities, assault course, beach games, music, film & photography workshops and lots more.
Irvine Bay Regeneration Company has combined with North Ayrshire Council to organise ‘Big on the Beach’, which will take place at South Beach, Ardrossan.
The event is aimed at families, is being funded by Irvine Bay Regeneration Company and will take place on 2nd - 6th August from 12-5pm each day. On Friday 6th, the week will culminate with the Beach Party until 8.30pm!
Wednesday 4 August is National Play Day and North Ayrshire Council's Children's Outreach Services will be running play activities on Ardrossan South Beach for children from 0 to 12 years, all free of charge 12 noon until 4pm.
Activities include a gyroscope, pod casts, film, dance and music workshops, archery, beach games, beauty tasters, volleyball, climbing wall, mega beasts workshops, inflatables and pony rides. The Scottish Maritime Museum and K:A Leisure will also be running activities, and 3TFM will be broadcasting live.
