The place

Irvine Bay is located on Scotland's north Ayrshire coast, It is an area of outstanding beauty spanning 14 miles of sandy coastline, extending to 35 square miles and contains the five main towns of Irvine, Kilwinning, Stevenston, Saltcoats and Ardrossan. Together these towns have a population of 88,000. Irvine is situated only 33 miles from Glasgow and its airport and 10 miles from Glasgow Prestwick airport.
