Omar Elmi joins Irvine Bay Regeneration Company

Irvine Bay Regeneration Company is delighted to announce the appointment of Omar Elmi as Commercial Director.

Omar joins from Edinburgh-based Miller Developments where he was a Director. He brings more than 20 years’ experience to Irvine Bay, particularly in setting up joint ventures. Omar has worked on numerous mixed-use and joint venture regeneration projects in Scotland, such as Pacific Quay in Glasgow, the South-East Wedge in Edinburgh and, in the north of England, the Whitehall development in Leeds and the Barnsley-Miller partnership in Yorkshire. He has also worked in Germany where he focused on investment acquisition and disposal. Prior to Millers, Omar was with Livingston New Town.

Patrick Wiggins, Chief Executive of Irvine Bay Regeneration Company said: “We are really pleased to have Omar on the team. His experience will be invaluable as we work through some very complex commercial deals, particularly as the UK property market is going through difficult times.”
