A new build project will create flexible workshop space on the former NACCO site at Ailsa Road, Irvine.
The high specification facilities will provide excellent workshop space for new and existing small businesses in the area, a great example of regeneration bringing jobs to this part of Scotland.
The buildings will be single storey steel framed workshop units with insulated metal cladding and brickwork. Two terraces of 600m2 each are planned as phase one of a courtyard formation entered from Ailsa Road.
Clark Contracts of Paisley began work on site in December 2011 and expect to have the first phase development complete by June 2012.
