Ailsa Industrial, Irvine
A new build project is creating flexible workshop space in Irvine Industrial Estate.
The high specification facilities provide excellent workshop space for new and existing small businesses in the area, a great example of regeneration bringing jobs to this part of Scotland.
The buildings are single storey steel framed workshop units with insulated metal cladding and brickwork.
Phase 1 of the development created two terraces of 600 sq m each. Clark Contracts of Paisley began work on site in December 2011 and Phase 1 was completed in Autumn 2012.
In January 2013, the Scottish Government announced £1.2 million funding for phase two of this project. The new funds were used to create a further terraces of two 600 sq m blocks. This work was completed in summer 2014.
