Irvine Bay Regeneration Company was established in October 2006 as a Company Limited by Guarantee and not having share capital. The urban regeneration company has a voluntary member board consisting of 5 members from the public sector and 6 members from the private sector, including an independent chairman.
The public sector partners are representatives of the main funding partners and include the Leader of the Council who is Vice Chairman of the organisation. The Chief Executive of the organisation is not a Board Member but has delegated authority in many areas.
